Neil Patel is a famous British entrepreneur, analytics expert, investor, marketing expert, speaker, and Internet personality. He is a New York Times Bestselling author.  He is a co-founder of Crazy Egg, Kissmetrics and Neil Patel Digital. Neil is best known for his work in digital marketing and social media and as the creator of Ubersuggest (a popular SEO tool). The Wall Street Journal calls him a top influencer on the web, Forbes says he is one of the top 10 marketers, and Entrepreneur Magazine says he created one of the 100 most brilliant companies. He was recognized as a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 30 by President Obama and a top 100 entrepreneur under the age of 35 by the United Nations. 

Early life 

Neil Patel was born on 24 April 1985 in London, England. He was raised in La Palma, California, and Settle. He was born to Indian parents. When Neil was 2 years old his parents moved to Orange County in California. After that, his mother joined a school for teaching it was a non profit gig and his father joined the family business of his uncle to earn and maintain their middle – class lifestyle in California. Neil started taking courses at Cypress Community College while still in high school, and a few years later he became an SEO consultant while still in college. Neil has a wife and one child. 

Career 

Neil Patel‘s marketing journey started way back in 2001. He created his first  job-board website at the age of 16, named Advice Monkey and paid a few marketing firms to assist with growing it, but he only ended up getting ripped off. Despite the fact that it consistently ranked on Google for job and career terms, thus generating more than 100,000 monthly visitors, he decided to close it due to the fact that he didn’t have enough money to market or monetize it. As he would put it, he had to learn marketing because he had no choice. He got good at it as time went on, but it would take one more step before he would pursue digital marketing as a career. 

In 2008, a short time after finishing his degree at Cypress Community College, Patel established his first successful venture: Crazy Egg, which is an online platform that offers website owners analytics tools, such as Heat Map, Scroll Map, Overlay, and Confetti, to track a website’s operation. In 2002, Crazy Egg and Neil bought Hello bar. In early January 2017, Neil purchased the Kissmetrics website for $500,000. Kissmetrics is a web analytics application that delivers key insights and user interaction on websites to help SaaS and e-commerce companies accelerate their growth. NP Digital was co-founded by Neil Patel in 2017. NP Digital is a marketing agency specializing in performance marketing. Its services entail content marketing, data, analytics, video and search. In February 2017, Neil acquired Ubersuggest,which started off as a keyword research tool. However, these days, Ubersuggest is used for much more than just keyword research, as it boasts many other rich features, including an SEO Analyzer, A/B Testing Calculator, a Backlink Checker, among other tools, making it one of the biggest SEO tools online. 

Many people are astounded by how much content is published on Neil’s blog on a regular basis. His blog earns 2.3 million visitors each month. Neil has an editorial team to assist him, as well a streamlined content creation process. He keeps his posts simple and straightforward, and the goal is always to drive traffic and spark conversation. In early 2017, Neil co-founded the daily podcast Marketing School with the well-known entrepreneur Eric Siu.
