The human eye responds to wavelengths of 360 to 650 nanometers. At the frequency this range ranges from 690 to 400 terahertz. The human eye can see up to a maximum of about 555 nanometers located in the green area of ​​the visible spectrum.

However, there are not many colors in the visible spectrum that can be distinguished from the human eye and brain. For example, brightly changing colors such as pink or mixed magenta are absent in this spectrum because these colors are created by mixing multiple wavelengths.

When sunlight falls on an object, some of this is absorbed according to the quality or religion of the object and the rest is reflected. This is the part of light that reflects without absorbing objects.

Which we see as the it of that object. For example, we can say that when sunlight falls on the leaves of a tree, the leaves of the tree absorb the other six colors besides the green and reflect the green. As a result we see the leaves of the tree green.

It is an eternal religion related to human philosophy. It originates from the spectrum of light. People have different colors for different reasons.

From the earliest times, that is, from the beginning of human civilization, we still have a close relationship with this. For about 25,000 years, people have used it for various purposes without knowing anything. The first use of it was seen in Babylon in the 1900s BC. Previously only it could be produced from different objects in nature. Nowadays it is also made artificially.

There are two sources of color

1. Natural sources

2. Artificial source

1. Natural source:

The colors that are found in nature or the colors that are created in a natural way are called natural colors.

2. Artificial source:

That is created by the combination of different chemicals. Artificial colors are created to match the use of special materials. Therefore, this can be of different types.

The colors that can be seen in different areas of daily life are mainly divided into three parts

1. Primary color

2. Secondary color

3. Mixed color

1. Primary color:

That cannot be made from any other color are called primary colors. Such as red, blue and yellow.

2. Secondary color:

That is created by the combination of two equal amounts of primary color is called secondary color. E.g.

Red + yellow = orange

Red + blue = purple

Yellow + blue = green

3. Mixed color:

That is created by a combination of an equal amount of primary and secondary colors is called a mixed color.

Red + orange = reddish orange

Red + purple = reddish purple

Yellow + orange = yellow-orange

Yellow + green = yellow-green

Blue + purple = bluish purple

Blue + green = bluish green

It can be divided into three parts according to the characteristics or quality of the colors

1. Color indicator:

Color indicator refers to any one color. Differences can be made between different colors. For example, red, blue, yellow, etc. can be easily identified through color indicators.

2. Color value:

Color value refers to the light or dark state of a color. For example, dark red, light red, dark green, light green, etc., the color value makes an object varied. Color values ​​can be divided into three parts.

C. Tone

A. Aura of color:

The transition from the normal state to light is called color aura. White is mixed with any color to create a hue of color. For example, when white is mixed with red, it becomes pink. Light green color is created by mixing white with green.

B. Shades:

When it moves from its normal state to darker, this state of it is called shadow. For example, maroon is made by mixing black with red.

C. Tone:

Going from light to dark or from dark to light in any of it. This change is called tone. Tones are created by mixing white or black with any colors. For example, mixing white with blue gives light blue and mixing blue with black gives dark blue.

3. Brightness or sharpness

The brightness or dullness of it is called the brightness or sharpness of it. Such as- bright red, pale red, bright green, pale green etc.

Color Wheel

The color wheel is made following special rules. In the early stages of it cycle, the primary colors are arranged according to equal distances. Those colors are red, blue and yellow. Then that is created by the combination of each of the two primary colors has to be placed between the two primary colors. These colors are known as secondary colors.

In the last stage of creating a color cycle, the colors that are created by the combination of a primary and a secondary colors are created by placing them in the space between the primary and secondary colors.
